Kurzbeschreibung

“Care” has served as a central idea for political activists and theoretical thinkers who look for new social contracts, for new models of social and personal relationships, for an economy that puts people’s needs in focus and organises social reproduction without undervaluing and invisibilising care work. This event discusses how the organisation of professional and paid care work is reflective of the role of “care” in society; it looks at strategies that aim at a new care economy that could provide intersectional justice.
