Scientific Focus of Work:

History of science and gender; science policy interventions to establish gender studies and gender equality policy

In my function as managing director, I promote scientific communication structures between scientists of different disciplines, support their initiatives and try to promote the further establishment of gender studies through scientific-political commitment.

Initiating and organizing the academic events of the ZtG, especially colloquia and (international) conferences, is one of my main tasks.

I am responsible for the publication of Bulletin-Texts and the newsletter Bulletin-Info, which was replaced by the Gender Blog in 2019, as well as for other publications of the ZtG.

Furthermore, it is important to me to provide young researchers with individual advice and assistance in applying for research funds and in planning their careers in the field of Gender Studies.
