Projects

The ZtG and its members participate in various third-party-sponsored research and teaching projects.

Professor Hornscheidt from the ZtG led and coordinated the EU-sponsored project, “Experiences of Children from Rainbow Families in School,” on which research teams from Germany, Sweden and Slovenia worked from 2009-2011.

The Center’s Dr. S. Grenz is coordinating the network “Generational Transmission and
Academic Culture Building in European Gender Studies in the 21st Century,”
sponsored by the Riks Bank’s Anniversary Fund (Stockholm). The network connects researchers and teachers from the Universities of Gothenburg, Thessaloniki, Lund, Utrecht, the London School of Economics, and Humboldt University.

A number of smaller teaching and research projects stem from our collaboration with various partners, especially the InterGender Research School and Antioch Education Abroad’s (AEA) program, Comparative Women’s and Gender Studies in Europe.

In 2010, through our collaboration with Panteion University in Athens, we released a publication in which gender studies texts from HU were translated into Greek.
